Sammy reconnects with his friend the giant unicorn. To Sammy’s surprise he see how quickly his friend has aged. During their conversation Sammy finds out his friends name is Star. Sammy tells Star of the dream he had about running with the wild horses. Star reminds Sammy that God is in control of his dream , whether it comes true or not, it is in God’s hands. One day Sammy helps Star down the mountain into the beautiful field of flowers. After a nap Sammy wakes to find Star asleep and cannot wake him up. Sammy deals with the death of his friend. As he says his final goodbye he hears the wild horses. As in his earlier dream, a bay mare comes to him and accepts him into the herd. Sammy thanks God for his time with his friend Star and that his dream of running with the wild horses has become a reality.

About the Author
Alyce was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1951. From 1951 to 1953, Alyce and her brother, Henry, were in foster care and in an orphanage.
Alyce and Henry were adopted in 1953 and moved to Manitowoc, Wisconsin. At the age of thirty Alyce found out that she had a sister, seven half-sisters and one half-brother. The complete extended family was brought together with a reunion planned by her adoptive parents, Henry and Mabel Schneider of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in the early 1980s.
Throughout her life, Alyce has lived in various cities in Wisconsin and Minnesota. She now lives in Springtown, Texas with her husband Rich, on a secluded six acres. Her hobbies are oil painting, working with her animals, gardening, and spending time with Rich. Alyce has been writing since the early 1970s. her writing come mostly from personal life experiences with hopes of inspiring and perhaps even helping others.
